Bluechel Residence
The original home is the oldest existing residence on Hunts Point. This older part of the house required a complete remodel, while an addition with several small rooms between the garage and the main house needed to be removed and replaced.
The new addition holds a small laundry room, a powder room and an entry from the garage toward the north and the kitchen with dining space towards a new south facing patio.
In the main house, the dark space that held the old kitchen was transformed into a spacious new entry way with walk-in closet. We moved the Master Bedroom upstairs and opened it up to the old sleeping porch that was changed from a storage space into a sitting area with view of the lake.
